Michael Friedman is the Deputy to CEOs.

In this role, Mr. Friedman is responsible for driving productivity and providing strategic direction and leadership to the following departments:

Quality Assessment and Improvement, which identifies, measures and enhances improvements across all aspects of the firm focusing on compliance with, and operational excellence of, internal best practices and other key procedures and controls.

Global Legal Services, encompassing: Attorney Recruitment and Development; Legal Staffing, Utilization and Business Analytics; Analyst, Specialist and Litigation Assistant Programs; Managing Attorney Office Services, E-Discovery, Trial Support, and Legal Project Management.

Global Operations, including Administrative Services (comprising of the Office Services/Management Team, Executive Assistants and Administrative Assistants), Procurement and Real Estate.

Global Information Technology, including Security, Infrastructure and Desktop.

Global People Team, including Business Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Benefits and Performance Management.

Finance, for integrated support and audit.

Knowledge Management, for collaborative training support.

Before joining Kobre & Kim, Mr. Friedman served as the Managing Attorney, Special Counsel and Senior Director in law firm management at various leading firms, including Kasowitz LLP, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP and Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP. Michael holds a JD from Brooklyn Law School and undergraduate degree from Hunter College. He is admitted in New York and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
