Kobre & Kim recently sponsored the 2nd Congress on Special Situations and Litigation Finance in São Paulo, which convened market leaders to explore the complexities of distressed assets and litigation funding in Brazil and beyond.

Sergio de Aguiar moderated the event’s closing panel, “Asset Investigation and Tracing,” guiding a dynamic discussion on when and how to conduct asset investigations, the practical challenges of tracing assets internationally, and how enforcement strategies play a critical role in monetizing distressed investments.

Mr. Aguiar was joined by Maria Tereza Tedde (Tedde Advogados), Carlos Lopes (StoneTurn), Camylla Horie (XP Asset), and Stefan de Lima (Latache Capital), who shared insights from the legal, investigative, and investment perspectives on asset investigation and recovery.
